2 day-ride in L'Empordà (Costa Brava)

Day 1

Departure

We will meet at the horse riding center.

There we will choose and prepare the horses and organize the material and we will start the route.

Upon leaving the riding center, we will head towards the house where we will spend the night, located at 30 kilometers away. Halfway through, we'll stop for lunch and then continue the ride, crossing medieval villages, rivers and forests.

Arrival at the "masia"
Upon arrival, we'll dismount the horses, store the equipment and prepare their food.

We'll leave our belongings in the rooms and have some time to rest. The farmhouse where we'll stay dates back to the 13th century and is located at the foot of Les Gavarres, in the village of Cruïlles.

Very close to the house, there is a local cheese store that we can visit, and if desired, purchase some local products.

Then, we'll have dinner at the farmhouse and head to bed. Drinks are available for purchase at the house (not included in the price).

Day 2

Departure

We will wake up early and have breakfast at the shelter.

The return route will be about 30 kilometers back to the equestrian center. We'll stop to eat a sandwich provided at the house, included in the price.

Arrival

The estimated time of arrival at the horse riding center will be between 3:00 and 5:00 PM, depending on the pace and timings.

Material Needed

Riding material

• Riding helmet.

• Riding boots/sturdy.

• Long pants or riding breeches.

• Riding gloves for a better grip on the reins.

• Backpack or saddle bags. 
  

Material for the route

• Water bottle.

• Snacks and a sandwich for day 1.

• Sunscreen.

• Shirt or t-shirt.

• Fleece lining, or light coat. 

• Extra pair of socks for each day.

• Long trousers/jeans.

• Raincoat and waterproof clothing.

• Toilet kit.

Price

The price of the route is 410€ per person, the groups are of minimum 4 people and maximum 8, you can come alone or with someone else, the price includes:

• Horseback riding guide.

• Horses.

• Horse saddle and bridle.

• Dinner, breakfast and lunch for the second day.

• Night at the "masia".
  

A non-refundable price per person will be charged for the reservation.

All the services related to the route and the client will be contracted directly with the Mas Paguina (with address at Camí de la Gola de Sobre Ter 43, 17258 Torroella de Montgrí, Girona), both the rental of the horses and the accompanying guide, contracted directly by the Hípica Mas Paguina, so the Hípica Mas Paguina is responsible for any incident related to the hiring of horses, damages and losses of the clients of the route and their insurance will directly respond.
